The APAICS Leadership Network, Inc. announced that Secretary Hillary Clinton was confirmed as a guest speaker at the organization’s VIP Reception on Wednesday, May 4, at 5:00 PM at the Washington Hilton.
The reception celebrates Asian Pacific American Heritage Month with guests including AAPI stakeholders, community and business leaders, and promotes future opportunities for AAPI leaders. This event is by invitation only.
“We are very much looking forward to hosting Secretary Clinton, a proven leader who fights for all Americans, including minority communities,” said Rep. Judy Chu (D-CA), chair of the Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus and APAICS Leadership Network board member. “Secretary Clinton has worked for decades on issues important to Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders, and will continue to be a strong advocate for our communities.”
The APAICS Leadership Network said in its announcement that “Secretary Clinton’s commitment to the Asian American and Pacific Islander community is long-standing, and she shares our determination to increase AAPI political participation.”
